1. Who may use Custom Color

You must be an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or upload photos. Custom Color is built for parents, guardians, teachers, and other adults making coloring activities for children. Children may enjoy the results, but the uploading, account, and ordering decisions belong to adults.

2. Your uploads: rights and consent

When you upload a photo, you confirm that:

• You own the photo or have permission from the owner to use it this way.
• For any person shown in the photo, you have that person's consent — or, for a child, the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian. In most cases that guardian is you.
• The upload does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.

You are responsible for the photos you choose to upload. Do not upload images you have no right to use.

3. Acceptable use

Do not upload or attempt to generate:

• Sexual, exploitative, or abusive content of any kind, especially involving minors.
• Violent, gory, or otherwise harmful imagery.
• Unlawful content, or content uploaded to harass, impersonate, or harm someone.
• Content designed to probe, overload, or bypass the service's safety systems or rate limits.

4. Moderation and our right to refuse

Every upload may be screened by automated content moderation built around child safety. The system is designed to fail closed: if a safety check cannot be completed, the photo is refused rather than processed, and screening is stricter when a child appears in the image. We may refuse to process any upload, remove content, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — at our discretion and without prior notice where safety requires it. Occasionally a perfectly innocent photo is refused by an automated check; if that happens, try a different photo or contact us.

5. Intellectual property

Your photos stay yours. Uploading a photo does not transfer ownership to us. You grant Custom Color a limited license to host, process, moderate, and transform your photo solely to provide the service — generating your line art, storing your saved creations, and fulfilling any order you place.

Generated line art is licensed to you for personal, family, and classroom use: print it, color it, share it with your family, give it as a gift. You may not resell generated pages, redistribute them as your own product, or use them commercially without our written permission. The Custom Color name, site design, and original artwork remain our property.

6. AI-generated results

Line art is generated by an AI model, and results vary with photo quality and complexity. We do not guarantee a perfect likeness, perfect anatomy, or print-perfect output on every attempt. Review your pages before printing or ordering, and regenerate with a different style or a clearer photo when a result misses. The free conversion tool is rate-limited to keep it available for everyone.

7. Purchases and printed products

For any purchase made on this site, Custom Color is the seller of record: your order, payment, and customer support relationship are with us. Physical printing and shipping are performed by a third-party print fulfillment partner on our behalf; that partner receives only the information needed to produce and deliver your order.

Printed-book ordering is currently being finalized. Pricing, shipping, and refund terms will be published on this page and at checkout before paid orders open. In the meantime, questions about orders can go to orders@customcolor.ai.

8. Accounts

Keep your login credentials secure and your account email accurate — it is how we verify deletion and support requests. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can request account deletion at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it running and safe, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every generated page will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Custom Color is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to a nominal amount. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Custom Color is organized, which will be specified here before paid orders launch. Until then, contact us with any dispute and we will work in good faith to resolve it directly.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
